Still somewhere in between

Exhibited in the Van Nelle Factory during Art Rotterdam 2022

[... The hills were sculptures; the roads defined the form. Above all, there was the sensation of moving physically over the contours of fulnesses and concavities, through hollows and over peaks – feeling, touching, through mind and hand and eye. ...]
Barbara Hepworth

Asphalt - A line - An etching on geographical scale - A composite rock - somewhere between solidiefied and the constant alteration to circomstances.

guided by void rather then structure

Stacking considered a vertical act ?

Crawling within the city and far beyond that fullness. A material designed as an additional tool to express perpetual movement as a common ground.

Exhibited in the Van Nelle Factory during Art Rotterdam 2022

In this series of objects, the composite stone asphalt is proposed as a principle, suggesting to view it as a zero-line. A semi-solidified division of ascending and descending human additional structures.
A slowly bending material as an effect. A substance consisting out of raw matter extracted far from deep terrestrial layers. An embodiment of the globe itself.
