Essayistic films aren’t just about topics, they explore how we think about
what we see. 





Films bury their traces directing us what to watch. But what if we watch with voluntary attention instead of letting the movies direct us. 






Nowadays there are more images and knowledge than to know what to do with. 





If media has taken up the space of our minds, how can our minds take back the space of media?







2018 – During Todays Art the genre Essay film was highlighted by WYSIWYG. This intervention occupied the waiting space before and after the movie screenings. Waiting – a rather non space occuping occupation.

Two sides give slightly different fraced information or objects to digest. 

more rigid and directed, while the other seems more open for change and potential by giving space for free alteration. - alter the script to seem open for alteration by fantasy and interpretation. Or isn;t it .

No rigid occupation will it provide angiety instaid of freedom? anxiety / discontent...

Not knowing what to do seems to give angiety instaid of freedom – anxiety / discontent.


A three dimensiona script which indicated choice-making, which will influnce the way of whatching ...

active appraoch or to far from expectation of the normal cinema setting.
